Braun Pump
& Controls Inc is a company dedicated to serving our municipal, industrial, and commercial customers' needs in the water
and wastewater treatment field. Dave Braun started the company in 1995 with 20 years of experience in the industry at that
time.
He began with one Service Truck and two Service Technicians, Dave being one of them, and a part time Bookkeeper. In 1998 we moved into a new and larger location in New Prague. We outgrew that facility and in July of 2005 we moved to our present location near the intersection of Hwy 19 and Hwys 13/21. This facility has 11,000 square feet with 3 jib cranes capable of lifting 4 tons each and a test tank to run tests up to 100HP, 10" pumps on 480 volt and mixers. We have a pump and parts inventory of approximately $350,000. Our pump rental fleet has over 90 pumps along with bypass equipment and temporary controls. The 24/7 service department is available simply by calling our main phone number and leaving a message. An automatic page is sent to the Service Technician on call. All of our service people have cell phones.
We have grown to twelve service vehicles, eight equipped with cranes and confined space entry equipment, and Ten Service Techs. The newest truck in our fleet is a 2008 Ford F350. All of the trucks with cranes have the equipment and necessary tools to accomplish most on site repairs. The shop has two Techs for repair of most makes of pumps.
For your new equipment needs we have an in house Salesman with 23 years of experience in the industry. Support people include an Accounts Receivable/Assistant Service and a sales and Administrative Assistant. Dave now splits his time between Service Manager, Sales, Consulting, Industry Seminars and teaching classes. Of course he still has time to get his hands dirty too.
In 1999 Braun Electronics Service was started to enhance our service capability to offer our customers an alternative for electronic repairs and service for most makes of controllers. We offer an exchange program for reconditioned pump controllers. Our Master Electrical Engineer has over 26 years experience.
